The Client – Notwoways
Founded by YouTuber Callum McGinle (Callux) and designer Rockwell Princley, Notwoways is a footwear brand based in East London, known for its limited drops and strong community following.
In summer 2025, we collaborated with the team to produce 500 limited-edition keyrings for a photoshoot promoting their latest trainer release, the M1 in Ice Blue.
The brief
Required for an upcoming campaign shoot and planned influencer distribution, the Notwoways team tasked us with creating exact miniature replicas of their soon to be released Ice Blue M1 trainer.
Accuracy, finish and speed were all critical, ensuring prototype sign off and production of all 500 units were delivered within the specified production window.
Our Approach
We began by 3D scanning the original trainer to capture its geometry and detailing.
The model was then refined in CAD to ensure key design features remained clear and, if required, new colourways can be introduced quickly for future campaigns.
To determine the best finish, our production team tested both Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) and resin 3D printing technologies, along with multiple colour and surface options.
Following prototype approval, resin printing was selected for its smoother finish and ability to capture intricate detailing, essential for close up shots of the product.
The Outcome
All 500 miniature M1 keyrings were assembled at our manufacturing facilities and delivered to the Notwoways team, ready for the campaign shoot and influencer rollout.
By choosing resin, we were able to capture the small design details that would have been lost at scale, giving the keyrings a clean, premium finish that held up under close up photography.
