The Client – Metalcraft
Metalcraft specialises in manufacturing high integrity, mission critical products for some of the world’s most hazardous environments, serving sectors like nuclear, medical, energy, and other challenging industries. The Challenge
Metalcraft needed a prototype set of ‘100 year cans’ for an exhibition, designed to demonstrate secure containment solutions for burying nuclear waste. This complex prototype involved four cans that would nest inside each other like Russian dolls, with each lid type distinctly designed (screw top, pop out, etc.) to showcase varying closure mechanisms.
